Some impotent activities of our Department :

Students Activities :

i)  Took training at different National Institutions, Universities, Corporate sector, etc.
ii)  Arranging different cultural programmes, sports and social welfare activities.

Campus interview :

Normally, Campus interview organized during January every year. So that, the private sectors, aqua farms of National and International repute can participate and choose their required trained & skilled aquaculture personnel.

Indoor culture facilities :

In our department we have excellent continuous and re-circulatory aquaria (10) with photoperiod, temperature and water flow controlling systems.

Networking facilities :

Our department has separate computer and networking facilities Laboratory.

Fieldwork Facilities :

Our every batch of students engaged with different field works like: Freshwater aquaculture and study on the Riverine , Reservoir & Wetlands fisheries resources. Brackishwater aquacuture and fisheries resources of Hooghly-Matla Estuary & the mangrove ecosystem of the Sunderbans . Coastal aquacuture, Mariculture and fisheries resources of the same.

Hands on Training :

In the final year of this M. Sc. course every students trained in Nationally reputed different aquaculture industries on the aspects like aquaculture medicine, feeds, processing plants, aquaculture farms etc.
