Aim of the Centre:

 

The Centre for Continuing and Adult Education (CCAE) under Vidyasagar University has been established in the year 2018 to offer PG courses for the working professional, students and others in view to widening their knowledge and skills and to make them eligible for competitive job market.

International students may also apply to degree-granting post-graduate programs across several disciplines. Before joining any course of the University, students must satisfy the academic requirements set for each course and obtain clearance from the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, for studying in India. They should apply early so that all formalities can be completed on time.

 

All the Courses offered by CCAE are open to all.

PG Evening Courses:

 

The centre is now running 10 Evening PG courses. Admissions are on Merit basis and Reservation of seats are as per the State Government Reservation Rules. Evening PG Syllabus & Course Curriculum are as Day PG courses of the University. 75% attendance in a semester shall be mandatory for appearing at the semester examination concerned.

Classes are regularly held from Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday from 11:00am to 8:00pm except Sunday and other holidays.

Students are provided with Library facility, Transport facility, Hostel Facility, Medical facility, Placement assistance etc.

Certificate and Diploma Courses:

Different Certificate and Diploma courses of affiliated colleges under the University from 1 week to 1-year duration are going on under CCAE.

 

Admission:

Application Forms for Diploma/Certificate courses are available from the office of Centre for Continuing and Adult Education (CCAE) or can be downloaded from university website (www.vidyasagar.ac.in). The filled in application forms, along with Application Fees of Rs 300/- for all Certificate/Diploma/PG Diploma courses and Course Fees in through cash challan or Online or a Demand Draft in favor of “CCAE, Vidyasagar University” payable at Midnapore should be submitted to the office of the Centre for Continuing and Adult Education on all working days between 11AM to 2 PM.

Admissions in Evening PG are done through Online. Admission notifications for Evening PG courses are published tentatively in the month of July-August every year at the University Website.
