Biographical Sketch
I have got master's degree in Chemistry from Dept. of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Vidyasagar University. I am awarded Ph. D. degree in Chemistry from Calcutta University simultaneously I have achieved 7 years research exposure in Ceramic Membrane Technology at Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CSIR), Kolkata. I am working at Centre for Distance and Online Education, Vidyasagar University since 2010. My present position is Senior Assistant Professor (Chemistry). I am coordinator of PG Evening Course (Chemistry) under Centre for Continuing and Adult Education, Vidyasagar University and also coordinator of Certificate Course like 'Laboratory Instrumentation: Principal and Applications and ' Art and Craft '.
Academic Interest
ACADEMIC INTEREST: Physical Chemistry ( Kinetics, Surface Chemistry and Spectroscopy), Applied Chemistry (Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry of oil and fats) and Environmental Chemistry RESEARCH INTEREST: Experimental Research on Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology, Surface Chemistry (Surfactants, Biosurfactants, nano emulsions); Environmental Research including Environmental Chemistry and Biodiversity, Experimental research on Chemistry behind Indian botanicals and dietary fibers.
